Movement
Movement is based on thought. How you think is how you move. How you think is how you fight. If we change the words in our heads we change the way our bodies move. This is essential when coaching individuals on how to properly utilize technique.
Slow movement with power is an interesting concept. Imagine a train going 180mph it is very difficult for it to alter course. Now imagine a whale it moves slow but with intent. A whale can alter course and still deliver great power. Why do we punch fast? if you can punch slowly and track your target and still hit with great power and force.

Ouch
Like movement our brains are wired to chase feeling. When you are happy you chase that feeling to be happy again. Your body will move to you brains command. The inverse is also true though when we are hit the feeling of pain or ouchie commands our brains processing. For example If I were to throw a punch and then get hit before I could land the punch my brain would immediately think of the pain vs trying to execute the next attack. Another great example of this is thinking in the negative our brains are not capable of it. Dont think of a purple elephant. What do you do you think of a purple elephant….
