Hip Throws

Throws have been one of the most difficult things to describe and teach. One can not tell someone how to do a hip throw. There are so many elements at play that the brain just can not focus. Instead one has to listen to thoughts and create their own metaphor / interpitation of how to complete the movement. Only then will you be successful in your throws. With throws you must elevate your opponent any pull down will kill the throw. When you practice think of it as dancing but you are leading them to their tipping point. Like the images below we are stars with mass and that mass has a non zero gravitational pull. This pull allows us to pull in our opponent and then throw them off like bouncing off of each other but also like how stars pull into each other in a downward spiral so is your throw. Once they are airborne the downward accelerate delivers the true force.
